It wouldn't turn over or anything. I took the switch out and put a test light on it and wasn't getting power to the solenoid when key was turned. Cleaned the contacts on the switch and on the harness plug abs still nothing then one time it started right up. To keep the same overall height you will need to use a lower profile tire with a larger diameter wheel - wider is fine, lower profile will make it ride much worse.

CubNub: I re-powered my 782 with an M18, and I'm very happy with it, but it wasn't a motor that came from a Cub Cadet, and it needed several "adaptations" not least of which was the crankshaft diameter at the PTO (Cub Cadet uses 1-1/8" ID PTO).
